It's transferred to babies through the mother, they get it before they're even born. Yes, it's from nuclear reactors as well as from nuclear testing. It's like with hot dogs - there's a "safe" level of nasty byproducts in them that you don't want to know about - well, there's a certain "safe" amount of nuclear leakage from reactors that is allowed as well. Not to mention the nuclear dump sites for spent rods %26 fuel from reactors. Yeah, it's buried, supposedly contained - but I'm willing to bet something leaks anyway. What's the answer? Stop all human reproduction? Stop any type of nuclear use globally? It's not possible - you can't put the genie back into the bottle once it's set free. And humans aren't going to stop having babies. i've been hearing people say that they wanna have lighter eyes "without contacts or surgery", and my friends say there IS a surgery, and i'm like, WHAT could someone possibly do to alter your eye color?!!

Hypoxia is low oxygen levels available to the tissues, or the tissues are unable to use or receive the 02 that is available, as in sepsis, or pulmonary embolus.
Hypoxemia is low 02 concentrations in the arterial blood.
oxygen therapy could remedy hypoxemia by increasing the amount of 02 in the blood, but not fix hypoxia if the problem is using the oxygen, no matter how much is available..hope this helps.

Is it too late to study medicine?
I've graduated with a diploma and am currently working. however, have always been interested in medicine but i'm already in my early 20s... i'm in the public sector as my goal is to help others but realise medicine may be my choice instead. is it too late to start pursuing a degree in medicine? any advice from current doctors or medical professors? thanks...

One of the neurosurgeons I work with was a teacher before he went into medicine. Not everyone rushes straight through school.
Your life experience is valuable, and that will be taken into consideration by medical schools. You probably stand a better chance of acceptance.
You'll need to brush up on (or take) the required sciences, do well on the MCAT, and then get into med school.
It's 4 years, and you can't do it at night like you can with law school. It's a full time job, and then some.
Go for it. It's worth the investment of time and money if it's where you belong.
(The military will pay your way if you're willing to pay them back in time)

I am on inderal for my chronic migraines and i have the urge to drink tea, coffee, red bull...etc... Would it harm my body if i do drink a stimulant?

Answer from a pharmacist.Not a good idea... they both 'officially' treat different things... but they work similar. They could cause your serotonin levels to increase which could lead to something called 'Serotonin Syndrome'.
Signs and symptoms of serotonin syndrome range from restlessness and rapid heartbeat to muscle rigidity and seizures. These go away quickly with treatment, which could simply mean stopping the medications causing the symptoms along with taking other drugs such as muscle relaxants and serotonin-production blocking agents. If not treated quickly though serotonin syndrome can become life-threatening.
Granted, you may take against advice and not have any reaction.but you never know how you will react (and I don't know your age, weight, past medical history, etc... so I couldn't make a determination on how likely you would be to react)...so. since there are many other weight loss options available, it's not worth the risk of taking the 2 meds together...
