i found a few pills that are small white tablets with a lower case "s" on one side and "540" on the other in my kids room. can anyone help me identify these?

I can't find anything on my usual lookup site. I suggest you take one to your local pharmacist who should be able to readily identify it. If you can't take one in maybe you can take some digital pix of them. Be sure that it's an "s" and not a "5" on that side.
