Is "homicidal violence" a medically recognized cause of death?

This term is used in an autopsy with no specific finding as to manner of death.
Answer:
There are 2 kinds of causes of death, one which started the chain of events, and one which actually caused the death. Homicidal violence is not an immediate cause of death - that would be blunt injury to head, stabbing injury to heart, etc.

Someone can be homicidally violent without actually killing someone (for instance, if they are in a locked jail cell - they have the capacity for killing someone, but not the means).

So no, this should not be on an autopsy report.
