Is it correct on the part of the chemist to accept the unused medicines from the customers?

Every house has stocks of medicines either being in use or being left over. The question is how safe and effective they are for use at times of need.
Answer:
Yes,if the medicines still have adequate time in expiring so that they can still be used by needy. In fact Govt should encourage it and formulate some methods for return and resale of such medicines to be sold separately by Govt. controlled shops without taxes since they will be sold second time . A huge amount of medicines once purchased by various households remain unutilised till expiry and is national wastage.Alternately Govt.should give incentives to general public to return such medicines in Govt.Hospitals with proper recording and ensure that corrupt do not make money out of such returned medicines.
